About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Marathon Children and Family Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Child Care and Support
    • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
    • Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
    • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate with parents and guardians about children's progress and needs.
    • Collaborate with co-workers and community service providers to provide comprehensive support for children.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Keep accurate records of children's progress and development.
    • Submit written observations and reports to early childhood educators or supervisors.

Working Conditions
