Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Marathon Children and Family Centre.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-12 years. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Communicate with parents and guardians through regular reports and meetings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Vulnerable sector check
