About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at JAINAM ENTERPRISES INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and provide change as needed.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Verify Age for Age-Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Train and Develop Skills: Willingness to learn and develop skills to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to learn and develop skills to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
