**Job Summary**

As a Rebar Fabricator with Allstar Rebar Nova Scotia Limited, you will play a crucial role in the construction of steel structures. Your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery, including benders, shears, and overhead cranes, to fabricate rebar for various construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate machinery to bend, cut, and shape rebar according to specifications
  • Load and unload trucks with rebar bundles
  • Tie rebar bundles together with wire for shipping
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform general labor duties as required

**Requirements:**

  • Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not available
  • Ability to read and communicate in English at an intermediate level
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Knowledge of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Construction, manufacturing plant, or rebar tying experience is considered an asset
  • Overtime and shift work may be required
