Job Description
BMO is actively seeking a Business Analyst for a contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify sources of requirements, potential interfaces, and impacted business stakeholders based on high-level process descriptions, user stories, or scenarios.
- Facilitate information-gathering sessions, leading discussions, managing group dynamics, and maintaining focus to achieve the session's objectives within the project's context.
- Gather and document requirements from these sessions for use throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models through techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs.
- Ensure system specifications align with business stakeholders' expectations and negotiate solutions when necessary.
- Participate in reviews or inspections with the project team to uphold the quality of deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with individuals in your area of responsibility to gather, validate, and approve requirements, fostering a comfort level in managing relationships and understanding stakeholders' challenges and opportunities.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with the organization's Requirements Management Process to support organizational standards and ensure consistency in deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Business Analyst experience: 5 years (Required)
- Intermediate Excel Skills: 5 years (Required)
- Intermediate Access Skills: 5 years (Required)
- Intermediate Power Queries Skills: 5 years (Required)
- Banking Experience: 3 years (Desired)
