Position Overview

Arash Painting Ltd is seeking a dedicated Coating Specialist to join our team. This role involves applying various finishes to both residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors.
  • Tasks may involve working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to various odours is expected.
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
  • Repair any cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Mix paints to achieve the desired colour and texture.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with airless spray equipment.
  • Proficient in brush painting techniques.
  • Skilled in conventional and roller painting methods.
Specialization Areas
  • Surface Preparation: Knowledge in drywall taping and patching.
  • Coating Applications: Expertise in multi-color finishes, powdered coatings, and paint spraying.
  • Wood Finishing: Experience in staining and glazing.
  • Wall Coverings: Proficient in wallpaper application.
Physical Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between different colours.
  • Physical stamina for bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Capability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • Flexibility and initiative in completing tasks.
  • Reliability and a strong sense of teamwork.
Work Conditions
  • Permanent position with a work schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
