Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Executing a variety of plumbing operations, including the assembly, installation, upkeep, and repair of water systems and pipelines.
- Qualifications:
- Completion of a DEP in plumbing;
- Certification as a pipefitter, either in construction or as a journeyman;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in plumbing maintenance and installation;
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints;
- Possession of a Class 5 driver's license in accordance with local automobile insurance regulations;
- Completion of construction site safety training (SST).
What We Offer:
- A structured 36-hour work week, from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm;
- Competitive salary ranging from $28.11 to $35.14 per hour, based on experience;
- Overtime compensation at half and double rates;
- A permanent role with comprehensive benefits, including a defined benefit pension plan, group insurance, generous vacation time, and priority access to daycare services;
- A vehicle provided by the city for work purposes;
- Uniforms and safety gear supplied.
The selection process includes an interview, background checks, reference verification, and a medical assessment.
