Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Glencore. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various electronic control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic control systems, including system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Install and test instrumentation devices, ensuring accurate and reliable operation.
  • Conduct hardware and software maintenance, monitoring, and reporting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance, including system backup and restore, software patches, and hardware cleaning.
  • Conduct visual inspections and provide recommendations and reports to ensure system integrity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year diploma in Instrumentation Technology or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in a milling environment.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, including PLCs (Modicon) and DCS (Foxboro).
  • CAAT and DAT testing certification.
  • Dual tickets in electrical and instrumentation an asset.
