About the Role

Newmont Inc. is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at the Porcupine Mine in Timmins, Ontario. As a key member of our Surface Electrical & Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on surface instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of surface instrumentation equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation equipment
  • Collaborate with other trades groups to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Licensed as an Instrumentation Technician
  • Minimum 3-5 years of trade experience
  • Related experience in the Mining or Manufacturing Industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
