As a Microsoft Workplace Solutions Architect, you will articulate the possibilities for our clients to revolutionize their businesses for the hybrid-cloud era using productivity suites like Microsoft 365. Collaborating with a team of sales professionals at Softchoice, you will play a pivotal role in designing solutions that enable a modern workplace for our clients. As a representative of the Softchoice brand, you will showcase our value as one of North America's premier solutions providers by unlocking our clients' potential to be future-ready through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a growth mindset by first understanding our clients' business challenges and then designing the most effective solution to achieve their goals efficiently. Foster collaboration by acting as a liaison between our sales team and clients. Share current insights on the latest productivity solutions from vendors, particularly Microsoft, and develop innovative strategies to address business challenges. Conduct workshops with business leaders at all levels and translate technical terminology into accessible language. Encourage clients to rethink their approaches by utilizing your skills, insights, and experience to help them understand the importance of doing the right things, rather than merely doing things right. Confidently challenge their assumptions with well-researched, tailored insights that highlight innovative solutions to maximize outcomes. Ensure an exceptional experience for clients and internal stakeholders through adaptable communication skills that promote a collaborative atmosphere. Document agreed-upon solutions with well-crafted, thoughtful, and detailed statements of work that reflect your professionalism and expertise.What you will bring:
A passion for empowering individuals with the technology they need to succeed in the workplace. A talent for guiding clients to the right solutions while ensuring they feel ownership of the decision-making process. Exceptional communication skills that make individuals feel valued, regardless of their position. A courageous leadership style that embraces authenticity, ready to engage in challenging conversations and support others. A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a technology-focused role, preferably in services pre-sales or post-sales support. Foundational training in at least one of the following technologies, with a desire to develop expertise in secondary technologies: Required technologies: Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration (Office 365 suite: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Microsoft 365 Identity and Threat Protection (Enterprise Mobility + Security), Microsoft 365 Device and Apps Management (Windows M365 CoPilot). Secondary technologies: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI), Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Governance (Azure Information Protection, Security Center). You may have experience with any of the aforementioned technologies in your client interactions. A bachelor's degree is not mandatory, but equivalent experience is required.
