Job Summary:

Universal Precision Technology is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and inspect parts at various stages of production using precision measuring equipment.
  • Receive and ship parts, raw materials, and measuring equipment for sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Calibrate in-house measuring instruments and follow procedures for non-conforming products.
  • Comply with AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in measuring and inspecting machined components.
  • Programming and operating PC-DMIS CMM's is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of measuring tools and ability to interpret results from CMM's.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Security clearance, including criminal record check.
  • Steel-toe safety shoes and CSA certification.
