This position collaborates closely with the Principal Architect and integrates with the internal IT team, external operational partners, and various departments within PharmaSciences, including Finance, GOPS, QA, Laboratories, and Sales, along with external vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and Development: Collaborate with the Lead Architect to create robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions. Engage in the planning and architectural design of: Networks Storage Systems Virtualization (Vmware/Citrix/VDI) Wireless Systems IT Production (OT) Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS - Azure, AWS) Software Integration Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure. Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation in accordance with GxP standards. Create installation guides, user manuals, and standard operating procedures. Document system configurations and changes to the infrastructure. Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to ascertain technical and functional requirements. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new solutions. Recommend enhancements and optimizations for existing infrastructure. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented infrastructure solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure. Participate in incident and change management processes. Evolve current technologies and solutions. Technology Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. Engage in training and conferences to enhance skills. Share knowledge with the team and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector. Proven experience in managing technical projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Citrix, VMware, Aruba, Veeam, Cisco, Fortinet, Intunes, Office365/EntraID, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server. Strong background in cybersecurity, including safeguards and vulnerability management. Proficient in scripting and task automation (PowerShell). Documentation Skills: Extensive experience in technical documentation and compliance with GxP standards. Ability to produce clear, accurate, and accessible documents for both technical and non-technical audiences. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VCP, CISM) are advantageous. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong capacity for teamwork. Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner. Competence in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Adaptability: Quick to adapt to new technologies and changes in the work environment. Initiative and the ability to work independently.
