About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Structures Martel. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Framing and Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Operate Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools, including reciprocating saws, circular saws, and forklifts, to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure that all work areas are clean and safe, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Industrial plant or factory setting.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with reciprocating saws, circular saws, forklifts, and hand tools.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding tasks, and repetitive tasks.
