Lead Fixture Purchasing Operations

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of fixture purchasing operations for new stores, relocations, and renovations across Canada. This includes managing the research and analysis of new sources and products, as well as ensuring best practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead new fixture development process, partnering with vendors to review needs and develop solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance, including researching new vendors and reviewing contracts
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure requirements are accurately communicated within project timelines
  • Develop and execute store fixture budgets, ensuring fixture commitments and inventories meet company needs
  • Monitor inventory and pricing information, reporting on actual costs and inventory against plan
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing purchasing and store fixturing
  • Post-secondary education in Business Management or PMAC designation
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing techniques and practices, as well as analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with other departments and vendors
