Health and Safety Specialist

O&B Management Inc is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for investigating outbreaks of diseases and food poisoning, providing information and training to employers, employees, and the general public, and establishing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and Analyze: Investigate outbreaks of diseases and food poisoning, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development: Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on health and safety best practices.
- Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including the development of health and safety plans and the oversight of their implementation.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports on health and safety incidents and trends, and communicate with senior management and other stakeholders on health and safety matters.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
The Health and Safety Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to various locations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
