We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at TACO TIME. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Determine the size of food portions and costs, plan menus and estimate food requirements, and prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience an asset, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
