Care Attendant

Seasons Retirement Communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Attendant to join our team. As a Memory Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with dementia and cognitive impairment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care services to residents, including medication administration, ensuring professionalism, dignity, and compassion with each interaction.
- Assist with activity programs, housekeeping tasks, and laundry as assigned.
- Respond to resident medical, physical, and emotional needs with collaboration from the Memory Care Manager/Health and Wellness Manager.
- Perform set-up, serving, and tear-down services for daily meal services, and assist residents with walking to and from the dining room and eating.
- Promote and support a person-centered approach to care and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with residents and co-workers.
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Safe Food Handler's certification.
- Empathy and compassion for the needs of the elderly with a specific focus on individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
- Ability to communicate effectively following written and verbal instructions.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload throughout scheduled shift.
