Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our Stouffville site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant, while also driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program to ensure a zero-harm culture and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Production Management: Oversee the daily production schedule, manage manpower requirements, and optimize production processes to meet business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecast production and maintenance costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Customer Focus: Manage customer relationships, coordinate with sales and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of products, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Land and Environmental Management: Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, manage waste disposal, and implement sustainable practices.
  • Community Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including neighbors and community groups.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and operational management.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
