Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team at CB Canada. As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide strategic guidance and direction to the HR team, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services and programs.
  • HR Advice and Support: Offer expert HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Program Management: Manage various HR programs, including OH&S, recruitment, attendance, and leave of absence, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Investigations and Conflict Resolution: Lead investigations into employee relations matters and facilitate coaching sessions to resolve conflicts and improve employee engagement.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with senior management, management, and employees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements, minimizing risk to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma; post-secondary education in HR or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, with 3 years in management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, with experience in recruitment and talent management software an asset.
