Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in facilitating patient recovery and independence. Working under the supervision of the Manager, this professional collaborates with clients, caregivers, and family members to develop personalized treatment plans. The OT assesses, evaluates, and provides consultation, treatment, and follow-up services to optimize patient function in self-care, productivity, and leisure activities.
About YouWe seek a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while prioritizing tasks and managing a busy caseload, is essential. BLS-C certification and proficiency in other languages, particularly French, are assets.
Hours and CompensationThis permanent part-time position offers 45 hours bi-weekly, with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. The hourly rate is $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
