Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Counter Attendant at DESI BAR & GRILL LTD. involves a variety of responsibilities centered around providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing equipment to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Prepare take-out food orders for customers.
  • Accurately portion and wrap food items for service.
  • Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items for customer consumption.
  • Serve customers at service counters or buffet setups.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of fresh items.
  • Take and process customer orders with attention to detail.
  • Receive, unpack, and properly store supplies in various storage areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing kitchen waste and trash regularly.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable to ensure a secure working environment.
Work Environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of working under pressure to meet customer demands.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
Additional Information
  • Training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience.
  • Position is permanent with a commitment of 30 hours per week.
  • Work language is English.
