Contract Overview:
Duration: 1 month, with specific start dates to be determined.

Position Overview:
The I.T. Support Technician will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by:
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and peripherals.
  • Documenting and maintaining hardware and software systems, ensuring they are up-to-date.
  • Managing user accounts, including permissions and security settings.
  • Providing training to staff and addressing product malfunctions, including ordering necessary parts.
  • Recommending appropriate products and services to meet client needs.

Key Requirements:
  • Availability for extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma with ongoing education in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a break/fix I.T. technician role.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of hardware and operating systems, particularly Windows 7 and Windows 10.
  • Familiarity with current protocols and standards in the industry.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and documentation.
  • Experience with personal computers, printers, and wireless devices.
  • Access to a personal vehicle for travel between job sites.
  • Smartphone with data capabilities for communication.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in computer science or information technology.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.
