Sooda Korean BBQ Cook: A Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Sooda Korean BBQ. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation and high standards.
As a Cook at Sooda Korean BBQ, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality food to our customers. You will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Participation in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Recruitment and Support: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster and provide support with foreign credential recognition.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Participation in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Participation in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
