About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Sysco Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain a variety of vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
