The Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Retail Services team for a new store setup project in Gatineau, QC. This exciting opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience in merchandising and construction while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Team Lead to ensure a successful store setup for an auto parts retail location.
  • Construct and move retail fixtures according to planograms and layout specifications.
  • Accurately place fixtures within the designated areas of the store.
  • Set products according to provided planograms, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
  • Install price tags and signage throughout the store, maintaining clear and consistent pricing information.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy collaborating within a team environment. The ideal candidate possesses:

  • At least one year of experience in merchandising and planogram execution within grocery, drug stores, or big box environments.
  • Previous experience working with planograms in an auto parts store is highly advantageous.
  • Comfort using small tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, tape measures, etc.
  • Experience building retail store fixtures from scratch is preferred.
  • The ability to efficiently follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Physical fitness, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform continuous standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Safety boots are required.
