Job Title: Plasterer Helper

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer Helper to join our team at Brothers Stucco Ltd. As a Plasterer Helper, you will assist our experienced plasterers in completing various tasks related to plastering, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and applying plaster, and assisting with demolition work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures, including removing rubble and debris.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on site.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a related field, such as construction or demolition.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruitment and mentorship of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Provision of diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
