Job Summary

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Cementing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our field equipment, performing shop maintenance, and supporting our operational business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain our pumper equipment, including preparing and operating the pumper for each job, performing rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, and final inspections.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on field equipment, including inspections, function tests, and repairs, to ensure all components are in working order.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance and repairs, and submit paperwork before shift end.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Station Management team to ensure smooth operations and support our business objectives.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce company safety policies, ensure compliance with HSE legislation, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of moving and lifting heavy objects, standing, gripping, sitting, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Availability: Be available to work on a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, and be fit for duty at all times.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year driving experience and an interest in getting a Class 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) license.
  • Skills: Possess strong mechanical skills, be able to troubleshoot equipment issues, and have a strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Field Operations: Have experience working in oil and gas field operations, including experience with rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, and final inspections.
  • Maintenance Knowledge: Have maintenance knowledge and be mechanically inclined.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliability, and dependability.
