As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in the plant and facilities team at our client's location. Your primary focus will be on maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring its availability. The Millwright will provide essential daily maintenance support and engage in various project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new clients through innovative and proactive sales strategies, while nurturing existing relationships with current customers.
- Oversee all facets of the sales cycle, ensuring accurate documentation and updates in the CRM system on a daily basis. Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and work closely with the management team to maximize opportunities. Maintain and refine the sales pipeline and reporting.
- Maintain regular communication with management and collaborate with operational staff to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
- Formulate a strategic plan with defined targets aimed at achieving revenue growth.
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with clients to deliver presentations, perform needs assessments, and propose solutions tailored to their logistics and supply chain challenges.
- Prepare quotes and assist in the RFQ/RFI/RFP processes, acting as a liaison between the organization and its clients.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to continuous improvement initiatives and delivering exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- A valid Ontario and inter-provincial Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Journeyman certificate with a minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience.
- Experience in a chemical processing or production environment.
- Proficiency in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including pumps, agitators, dryers, compressors, and conveyors.
- Familiarity with CNC machining (operating lathes and mills), rigging, mechanical seal repair/replacement, and pipe fitting.
- Experience with MIG/TIG/ARC welding and TSSA certification is considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and possess intermediate skills in AutoCAD; exposure to SAP is advantageous.
