Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities by working from specifications such as blueprints, sketches, and verbal descriptions.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of a mechanical apprentice training course and possession of a journeyman/woman license
  • Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Pneumatics experience
  • Eligibility to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good fabrication and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work in any of the three shifts in a unionized environment
  • Able to multi-task
  • Previous High Pressure Die Cast experience
