Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, and attractive condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high work performance standards in the housekeeping department.
  • Understand and accurately follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of departmental procedures and policies with a high level of compliance.
Requirements
  • High School education preferred (Grade 10 equivalent required).
  • Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred; experience with housekeeping equipment and products preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.

Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
