Job Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to patrons
  • Take and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff
  • Present menus and make recommendations
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables
  • Process payments and balance cash
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area
  • Ensure compliance with liquor regulations
  • Assist guests with special needs
  • Provide excellent customer service
Skills and Abilities
  • Certificates: Smart Serve certification required
  • Technology: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and point of sale systems
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check is mandatory
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding environment
