Project Controller Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Project Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. With a strong background in finance and administration, this individual will be responsible for monitoring costs, preparing project schedules, and creating project reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control project costs and ensure adherence to budget
  • Prepare project schedules and execution plans
  • Prepare project reports (internal and external)
  • Create and maintain projects in SAP
  • Prepare project cash flow
  • Collaborate on project document management
  • Help prepare change requests
  • Contribute to contractual risk management and project strategy support
  • Contribute to analyses and make recommendations to management
Requirements:
  • College degree or certificate in administration, finance, or project management
  • Three to five years of experience as a project assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of project management in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (French/English)
  • Autonomous with ability to work with multi-functional teams
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of planning tools (Primavera or MS-Project)
  • Knowledge of business-related financial and commercial issues
