About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Everly Drywall Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet client specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a sturdy installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling are required to access and install drywall.
  • Hand-eye coordination is essential for measuring, cutting, and installing drywall.
  • Standing for extended periods is required to complete installations.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • Dependability is crucial to meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Flexibility is required to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Reliability is essential to ensure consistent quality and timely completion of installations.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.
  • English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
