The Director of Ticket Sales & Business Development is a pivotal role within our organization.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, with availability required during days, evenings, and weekends.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Governor, the Director of Ticket Sales & Business Development will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing customer engagement, driving revenue growth, and executing strategic objectives aligned with our vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue through exceptional customer entertainment experiences by selling season ticket packages, mini plans, flexible options, premium seating arrangements, and individual tickets.
  • Engage with customers primarily through effective database management, utilizing software tools, and conducting both outbound and inbound communications.
  • Collaborate closely with the box office to ensure seamless execution of business operations initiatives.
  • Oversee the customer database and devise innovative strategies to enhance communication with our clientele.
  • Formulate strategies to optimize existing ventures, conduct risk assessments, perform strategic analyses, and initiate new projects in line with the organization's strategic direction.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales revenue and venture performance to management.
  • Design and implement fan surveys, organize fan events, and host special gatherings.
  • Fulfill game day responsibilities as assigned.
  • Exhibit a dynamic personality and strong work ethic.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with staff, management, customers, and corporate partners.
  • Adhere to company policies and comply with industry regulations and provincial legislation.
  • Collaborate with business operations, hockey operations, and centralized services teams for daily operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college-level education in sales, marketing, or the sports industry.
  • Experience in volume sales and database management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management software is preferred.
  • Sales experience in various business environments is also beneficial.
  • A strong work ethic and accountability for self-performance are essential.
