Program Delivery Coordinator

Telesat is seeking an experienced and professional Program Delivery Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Program Delivery Division, reporting directly to the Lightspeed Segment Program Delivery Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate tools administration for the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment with PMO standards and practices.
  • Prepare regular reports on program access administration, process and training updates, and action item status.
  • Support process management and training coordination, assisting in the release and maintenance of processes and training materials.
  • Coordinate program-level reviews, working with stakeholders across the program on planning, logistics, support, documentation, and action items.
  • Track and manage program-level action items from program reviews, quarterly reviews, and milestone reviews.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating projects, preferably in a telecoms/engineering field.
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Primavera, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence is considered an asset.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new tools and techniques quickly.
  • Positive attitude, solution-oriented, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Professionalism, takes direction well, organized, displays sound judgment, has solid problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Working Conditions
  • Working conditions are typical of an office environment.
  • Occasional travel, including international travel, is possible.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
