Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at Christopher Canete. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to infants and children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging independence and self-confidence
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting socialization and fun
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing transportation and support
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and punctuality, essential
Working Conditions:
  • Work in employer's/client's home
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
  • Public transportation available
Language:
  • English, the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, regular schedule
