Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at North Vancouver Bottle Depot. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing sales transactions, and performing routine clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Verify stock availability from current inventories, reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, and record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory system.
  • Sales Transactions: Complete sales transactions, calculate costs of orders, and prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control, dispose of and account for outdated stock, and monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and able to use computerized or manual inventory system.
Work Environment

As an Inventory Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week in a permanent position. The work language is English.
