About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Medico Construction & Design Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Budgeting

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including project coordinators, engineers, and contractors, to achieve project goals and objectives.

Contract Management and Negotiation

Prepare and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Quality Control and Assurance

Establish and implement quality control processes to ensure that projects meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a project management role, preferably in the construction industry.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven track record of successful project delivery, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
