Job Summary

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Building Requirements Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying equipment associated with each flight simulator installation, preparing drawings for installation, and coordinating with project managers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify equipment associated with each flight simulator installation
  • Prepare drawings for installation of flight simulators in customer buildings
  • Prepare technical specifications for different types of simulators
  • Carry out visits to validate the status of customer buildings and propose changes needed to align with installation drawings
  • Write visit reports and coordinate with project managers and customers throughout the schedule

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or building engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in design and construction
  • Ability to read and interpret building design drawings and make technical suggestions as required
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation software, as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks software is an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required
