Position Overview

As a key member of our team, the Gas Bar Operations Supervisor will report directly to the Gas Bar Manager. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while at work.
  • Ensure reliability by being present for all scheduled shifts.
  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of car wash equipment, where applicable.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, pricing, and display of merchandise as directed by the Gas Bar Manager.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of point of sale operations, including back office functions.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and inviting environment at all times.
  • Support marketing initiatives for the location.
  • Assist in supervising and training team members under the guidance of the manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Provide assistance at the pump island as needed.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and prepare necessary reports.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures effectively.
  • Handle administrative tasks as assigned by the Gas Bar Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Gas Bar Clerk with Federated Co-operatives Limited, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity, or 3 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment.
  • Completion of a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education.
  • At least 6 months of experience in administrative tasks, including cash reconciliations and general office duties.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in directing, coaching, and training team members.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Note: A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
