Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our front of house Food and Beverage operations at a multi-venue location.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the front of house F&B operations on a shift basis, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Schedule and supervise team members, verifying time and attendance, and assigning shift work assignments.
- Complete shift reports for management and for the next shift, tracking quality and guest issues.
- Assist with the screening and selection of new hires, organizing and tracking training progress.
- Assess guest alcohol consumption and deliver removal or restriction decisions.
- Order front of house supplies as required and participate in monthly inventory counts.
- Perform front-line F&B duties as required, including Coffee Cart Server, Bartender, and Expediter.
- Offer F&B expertise to internal and external customers.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments and team members.
- Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, management, team members, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma; Post-Secondary education in hospitality or suitable combination of education and experience.
- 2 years Food and Beverage experience, including 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
- POS experience and Serving it Right Certification.
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
- Computer literacy in MS Office.
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular office, restaurant, or casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours.
