About the Role

Mainstreet Equity Corp is seeking a skilled Laborer - Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the aesthetic appeal of our properties by pruning and trimming trees and plants as needed.
  • Cut Grass: Ensure lawns are well-manicured and maintained by cutting grass regularly.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our properties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure our properties are free from litter and garbage by removing it regularly.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the maintenance of our properties by carting and spreading topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Maintain the health of our plants and trees by applying fertilizers as needed.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure our equipment is in good working condition by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Maintain the health and appearance of our plants, lawns, and gardens by watering and tending to them regularly.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Ensure our equipment is in good working condition by performing routine maintenance and repairs.Requirements
    • Criminal Record Check: A clear criminal record check is required for this position.
    • Availability: Must be available for shift or on-call work.
    • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
    • Hours: 40 hours per week.
