We are seeking a dedicated Construction Estimator to join our team at PRO-ABLE DOORS & SYSTEMS INC.. This role is essential in ensuring accurate project cost assessments and financial planning.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in construction estimation or related experience
Work Environment

The estimator will primarily work in an office setting, focusing on estimating tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile detailed estimates of labor and material costs
  • Assess general expenses and overheads for projects
  • Conduct economic feasibility studies and preliminary cost assessments for proposed projects
  • Analyze project cash flow and financing needs
  • Generate and submit comprehensive estimate reports, quotes, and bid forms
  • Establish and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Oversee and adjust contract expenditures as necessary
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Prepare detailed reports as required
  • Utilize MS Office applications effectively
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in estimating software
  • Strong skills in spreadsheet applications
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Word
