Farm Worker Job Description

Adh Mor - Big Luck Ranch is seeking a skilled Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for handling animals, monitoring their health, and performing various tasks related to farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Feed and tend to animals, including horses, cattle, and other livestock
  • Monitor animal health and detect any signs of disease or health problems
  • Perform animal grooming activities, such as cleaning stables and barns
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and forage equipment
  • Train horses and other animals
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm work or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Farm Worker will work in a rural area, outdoors, and at heights. The work environment will be hot, noisy, and may involve odors and wet/damp conditions.
