Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nanofabrication Technician to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various nanofabrication processes and a strong ability to execute precise, detail-oriented work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of nanofabrication equipment, including deposition systems, lithography tools, etching systems, and characterization tools.
  • Execute fabrication processes according to detailed procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop and optimize new processes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of process parameters, equipment performance, and experimental results.
  • Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in nanofabrication.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple nanofabrication processes, including thin film deposition, wet processing, lithography, etching, and characterization.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Openness to work flexible hours in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations within the greater Vancouver Area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a shared-use facility, such as a university cleanroom.
  • Experience with specific nanofabrication techniques (e.g., atomic layer deposition, electron beam lithography, deep reactive ion etching).
  • Experience with photonics/optical measurements.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis.
