South Asian Broadcasting Corporation Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Sound Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a Sound Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality audio for our broadcasts and live events. You will be responsible for operating a wide range of audio equipment, from mixing consoles to microphones, and will work closely with producers, directors, and other technical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Operate electronic equipment used in radio, television, and motion picture production.
  • Manage audio-visual systems for video conferencing and multimedia presentations.
  • Utilize mixing, dubbing, and editing machinery to create professional sound recordings.
  • Set up and operate audio consoles, computers, tape machines, microphones, and sound processing equipment at live events.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of audio engineering principles and have experience working with various audio equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi languages is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and sound discrimination skills
  • Flexibility, initiative, judgment, and organizational abilities
