Position Overview Our client in the Oil and Gas sector is seeking a SAP BTP Solutions Architect (Extension Suite) . The successful candidate will possess robust technical skills, a knack for diagnosing and resolving intricate challenges, and a collaborative spirit to create and implement high-quality solutions. A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in developing, testing, and deploying solutions utilizing SAP BTP is essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including C-Suite Executives.
Technical Expertise:
- Profound understanding of SAP BTP, encompassing its functionalities and services.
- Proficiency in:
  • ABAP for RAP
  • Java for CAP
  • JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with:
- SAP BTP Cloud Foundry
- SAP U5 and/or Fiori Elements
- DevOps and/or Agile methodologies
- RESTful APIs, OData Services, and associated protocols
- Various runtime environments: Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and ABAP
Additional Knowledge:
- App routers
- Security protocols using XSUAA
- Expertise in SAP BTP Administration is a plus. Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Design and execute Side-by-side extensibility, on-stack extensibility, and in-app extensions, selecting the optimal approach based on project requirements.
  • Create technical specifications for applications derived from functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery, adhering to DevOps principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Establish quality benchmarks within the engineering community, offering innovative solution strategies and recommendations for enhancements from an end-to-end (E2E) perspective.
Work Authorization: Must possess valid work authorization for Canada.
