POSITION SUMMARY

Manage all guest arrivals and departures, including check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and requests for late check-outs or room changes. Ensure payment is secured and room keys are activated or reissued. Confirm that rates align with market codes and document any exceptions. Adjust guest billing as necessary and communicate with relevant staff when guests are awaiting room availability. Inform guests of any messages and clear departures in the system. Collaborate with Housekeeping to monitor room status and address guest concerns. Organize and maintain guest documentation. Operate the telephone switchboard and generate daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports. Provide guests with directions and information as needed. Address, record, and process all guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring follow-up for complete satisfaction. Arrange transportation for guests and visitors. Secure and count cash at the beginning and end of each shift. Process various payment types, including cashing guests' checks, and provide change as necessary. Report any theft incidents to Loss Prevention/Security.

Adhere to company policies and procedures; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; maintain a clean and professional appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and respond to guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones with appropriate etiquette. Foster positive working relationships; support team efforts to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Comply with quality assurance standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

License or Certification: None required.
