About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Data Analytics to join our team at T-Net British Columbia. As a key member of our analytics platform team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines using technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, ClickHouse, and Cassandra.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning models to solve business problems and deliver insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cutting-edge solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and exploration to understand data quality, distribution, and patterns.
  • Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python development with a deep understanding of Python-based applications.
  • Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, ClickHouse, and Cassandra.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering, data quality, data governance, and data security best practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with caching and CDN technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 CAD, a hybrid work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
