As a Senior Applications Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and nurturing customer relationships under general supervision.
- Supporting the conventional oil sales teams to meet customer needs and specifications.
- Providing expert guidance and support on the formulation of demulsifiers and water clarifiers tailored for the Oil and Gas sector.
- Communicating technical programs to our customers' Production Optimization Groups and Operations personnel.
- Leading and managing research initiatives to strengthen Lufkin Gears' strategic positioning in various Oil and Gas market segments.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in demulsifier and water clarifier product selection.
- Experience in developing new formulations is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of troubleshooting demulsifiers and water clarifiers and their applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of oil and gas production processes, including downhole operations, pipelines, and facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet/Intranet tools.
- A proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effective solutions.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- In-depth understanding of oil and gas production and transportation systems.
- Experience in project management and the capability to present solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
